2023 Pride Reception
Please join the LGBTQ+ Bar Association of the District of Columbia and Steptoe & Johnson LLP for our annual Pride Reception starting at 6 pm on Wednesday, June 21 at Steptoe’s DC Office, located at 1330 Connecticut Ave. NW.
This year, our theme is Celebrating Pride, Defending Community. As part of our celebration, we plan to recognize Paul Smith, a legend of our bar and a defender of our community. Throughout his distinguished career, Paul has argued before the U.S. Supreme Court 21 times and secured numerous victories, including in the landmark LGBTQ+ rights case Lawrence v. Texas. We look forward to hearing from Paul, celebrating pride, and seeing you all soon.
